Discussion 55: Read Pastor Cha's sermon (5-10-15), the sermon by Ray Stedman (Acts 18:1-22), and today's devotion (5-17-15).

In today's sermon, "Find My Own People", according to the section "Summary From Last Week (#53)": What is the wickedest sin that makes one steeped in false goodness? What does serving God with a religious belief eventually lead one to do? What do all the religious people pretend to be? But, in fact, what are their souls caught by? In addition, what do some even try to do because of their religious pride? How is this nothing but idol worship? What is true Christian living? What must all the service and offerings that we give to God have? How can we experience God as if we touch Him with our hands, and what does this show? Why does Satan try to tempt us, and what do we have to do to prevent it?

In the section "Paul's meeting with fellow workers of God at Corinth": Where did Paul leave before arriving at Corinth? Who were one of the most important coworkers for his ministry that he met at Corinth? Where did they come from, and why did they leave there? What did they have in common with Paul, and what did Paul begin to do when he stayed with them? When did they become Christians, and what did they do after meeting Paul? What did they do wherever they went, and what happened to them later?

What is the most blessed meeting, and how does 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 explain this? How is the word "aroma" derived, and how is it seen in Genesis 1:2? What do people believe that they are, what does the Bible say about this, and how does Ephesians 2:1 further explain this? How does the Spirit of God work this out? What is this experience called, and how does God accomplish it? What is realized and experienced through our union with Christ, and what is it called? What isn't this a fragrance of, and what must we have to obtain it? What will happen if we truly dwell in the truth of Christ? How will we testify to the power of God's salvation? What happens to our being when we go through this transformation?

What is the clear mission of God's saints for the rest of their lives? What should we do to accomplish this? Why will we suffer when we try to live as "Christs" on earth? What will happen as we begin to realize the depth of the gospel? What can happen to our faith because of worldly temptation? What does Galatians 3:3-5 say about this? What are the common issues that appear in the epistles of Paul? What should we do to prevent this? What happens if we truly present the gospel as God intends, and why? What happens the more we realize the heart of God through the message of the gospel? What are all around us in this world, and what will we realize? How will we be treated, and what do 1 Peter 2:11 and Matthew 25:35 have to say about this? What did Jesus call Himself, and what does He ask of us? What does the word "stranger" mean, and how did we accept Jesus? What kind of alien was he indeed? How will the world treat us, and why? Why does the world hate the fragrance of Christ? What happens with the fragrance of Christ without God's grace, and what are they without it? What is true with almost everyone in the city and a very few people there?

What is the meeting with Priscilla and Aquila like to Paul? What di?d they desperately wait for and finally find? What is the situation today, and what do we have to continue to do that our church exists for?

In the section "When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia ... From now on I will go to the Gentiles.": Who did Paul try so hard to deliver the gospel to, but why couldn't he? What do religious people like, hate, and want, and whose idea is this? Why did Paul naturally turn his way to the Gentiles? What gesture demonstrates this, and what did Jesus tell His disciples to do similarly in Mark 6:11? What did Jesus use to show this, and how does v6 parallel what is said in 2 Samuel 1:16 and Ezekiel 3:18, 33:4,8? What is their legalistic and religious lifestyle the same as? What does "I am innocent" mean, and what does God do to prove this? What is the only way we can be pure?

In the section "For I have many in this city who are my people (v.10)": What happens because of the Jews rejection? Who came to believe in Jesus and were baptized? How long did Paul stay in Corinth, and what did he continue to do? What did God tell Paul, and what does it indicate? What did God continue to command him to do? What is the mission of the church, and what shouldn't we stop doing to fulfill it? Where does faith come from? What does this surely prove, and what do people like Aquila and Priscilla desire? What does 2 Timothy 2:22 tell us to do? What does "a pure heart" mean in this verse, and what do we have to deliver to have one "created" (Psalm 51:10)?

In the "Conclusion": What do we need to pray for? What will happen if we send out the smell of death, or we remain and breathe in the pure truth? What is the church, what is it's mission, and what do we need to hear the voice of God saying?
